Making the Connections - Live Workshops

Making the Connections-one-day, 6-hour workshop - is an in-service training workshop that equips teachers to design and implement lesson plans incorporating biblical worldview components with any subject matter, at any grade level, using any curriculum. This workshop is held at individual schools or combination of schools on an invitational basis. The Biblical Worldview Institute provides the Making the Connections textbook and participant guide, rights to copy the "BWI Planner" for individual personal use, hands-on training with certified instructors, step-by-step instruction, sample lesson plans, and guided practice.

Financial Matters: The cost of a live workshop is $30 per participant, with a minimum of 30 participants, and a $350.00 Instructor fee. If there are less than 30 participants, the cost is a flat $1250.00, regardless of the number participating. If a group has 50 or more participants, the Instructor fee is waived. Schools with less than 30 participants are encouraged to join together with another local school (or several schools) to keep individual school costs down, if so desired. In addition, the host school provides round trip transportation for the instructor. If the host school is located more than 200 miles from Seattle, air tickets may be required. The host school may purchase tickets directly, or reimburse The Biblical Worldview Institute for tickets purchased for the speaker. Please let us know your preference at least 30 days prior to the workshop. If the instructor drives, reimbursement is 44.5 cents per mile, round trip. Accommodations for the instructor are to be provided if the site is more than 100 miles from Seattle. Schedule: This one-day 6-hour workshop usually begins at 8:45 AM and concludes at 3:45 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. Credit: Participants completing the one-day format earn 1 Bible CEU through ACSI. In addition, 6 clock hour credits are available for Washington State teachers and administrators.
